Job description
The Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE) was founded in May 2011 with the main purpose of connecting intellectual sources in a systematical way to identify ideas, strategies, and implementation in all fields of sciences and techniques in foreign countries and at the same time orient to make contribution to the development of Vietnam. AVSE is currently recruiting an admin assistant (internship or freelance) to join this dynamic and international team, working in an inspiring environment with contacts of high level, and for its strategic projects.
Responsibilities: To assist AVSE’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, the administrative assistant is supposed to:
- Prepare administrative documents
- Assist the coordination and organization of activities/projects (event organization, logistics, exchange…), assist AVSE’s partnership activities (international cooperation, event organization, translation…)
- Update timetable of AVSE’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors and make reminders
- Synthesize article, press articles/links/video related to AVSE’s activities
- Follow up to ensure AVSE’s website and social media are updated
- Update AVSE database, project reports, mi-annual or annual reports
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong interest in scientific activities, passion for cooperation of Vietnam-France,
- Employing proactive and persistent approach and attitude
- Capacity to consolidate and summarize information from varied sources
- Fluent in English with a good level of French (kindly apply with a CV and cover letter in English)
- Strong computer skills (proficient command of Word, Power Point and Excel)
- Highly detail–orientated, strong time keeping skills, efficient, autonomous, well-organized, and able to multi-tasks on multiple deadlines
What’s on Offer
- 1,5-2 months full-time or 3-4 months part-time, potential for extension
- Salary: negotiate
